A little less than an hour away from Kyoto's
urban district by car, the quaint village
of Kurama is an excellent retreat for those
in search of privacy and relaxation. Enjoy
the thrill of a mountainous drive while breathing
in clean fresh air from Kurama River. The
area is lush with Kitayama Sugi (Japanese
cedar) and the "HOUROKU-YU" hot
spring located at the foot of the mountain
evokes a sense of mystery.
